Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes a great option for those living in apartments since it uses smaller docking systems and comes with its own trash bin. The app allows you to set different modes and monitor cleaning and mopping. The mopping function is impressive.
Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it mops very well and removes pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans and refills its tank.
Roomba from iRobot Combo
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient at cleaning, and comes with an app for mobile devices that is easier to use however it's a great alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems, like LiDAR or structured light, but it still can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo has many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus includes, such as an the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the floor type and AI-powered Navigation, but it's not able to control suction power using a hand. It's also smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with a self-empty dock.
In my experience in my experience, the Combo is a great choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the most attractive in the industry. The clean matte black plastic appears superior to the competition's metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's small touches--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf inside the dock that can hold additional bags--are more classy than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock
While Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market but it's already earned its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors of dirt. You can also alter the cleaning process of the bot making use of a variety of scheduling and mapping options.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to see objects that are lower than its own height. This is especially helpful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation, because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to run over pet waste and slam furniture without noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this problem by using the Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses two cameras to see objects within a room.
Roborock robots are equipped with a variety of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. They include docks that are automatically empty, and mop washing stations with many functions. These features eliminate the need to empty the dust bins or wash mops manually, making for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is simple to use thanks to its simple layout and its lag-free communication with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a range of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to plan and execute the most efficient route. It can also identify different flooring materials, and obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can lift itself up to 7mm in order to glide over carpets. Smart spray system makes the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving water marks.
The Legee, an Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It is more feature-rich than either of them, including a more flexible, D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round-shaped robot. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder), four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots have only one pair). Additionally, it has Legee SLAM, which reduces the bump-and grind problems that plague Gen 4 Robots.
Contrary to other robots unlike other robots, the Legee has an integrated trash compactor that is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station comes included and washes, refills and dries your mop's 'cloth. You can use the mop up to six-times longer than you would with other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency with the frequency of emptying bins.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher, known for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for quite some time. This is the most advanced model from the brand. Based on LiDAR technology, it creates maps of your home that can be programmed to clean or mop. It also differentiates between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with water puddles on your pile.
Its navigation is flawless, avoiding carpets or furniture with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customised with a variety of settings that include cleaning schedules and rooms it is required to clean. It also has an 'emergency' button that will make the robot return to the base when it is running out of power and it can also be set to automatically turn itself off if a storm is approaching.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Those with small children will appreciate the safety features like sensors that warn it to stay clear of steps. Once charged, the device takes only about a couple of hours to charge and the two buttons at the top will flash in green to indicate that it is ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that balances advanced cleaning technology with affordability. It is a rival to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't match. It uses sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors, and also to detect areas that are less clean and ensure they get enough attention. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging furniture or walls.
You can also look at the map of your home in the app. You can also mark specific areas and objects that you'd like the vacuum to stay clear from. The device will slow down when it spots an obstacle, and will stop from bumping into it. It also comes with a smart dust bin which alerts you to its fullness so that you can empty the bin at the right time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those looking to outsource their daily cleaning tasks. It has dual functionality as mop and robot vacuum that lets you keep your floors spotless without having to lift a finger. It also has a smart design that increases the efficiency of cleaning corners by as much as 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 a sleek, feature-packed vacuum/mop. It does a great job at keeping floors neat and tidy. It can't lift its mop to clean carpets or rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good in cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a high-quality app that runs on iOS and Android.

It's smaller than most of the competitors and its main brush is smaller than others, but it did a great job of making short work of our test area easily. The brush that rotates on the side that is used for edges is a nice addition and, while it couldn't remove dirt from our rugs and carpets like some of the competitors, it did a very good job overall.
The robot can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. Going On this page to control through the app and a variety of voice output options can keep you informed of the status of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and increase the performance. The app is able to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are not at home.
